Bookish Things

I still can’t believe that spring is officially here! Where has the year gone? Is it really already April? Why do I have finals when I could be enjoying the rainy weather by staying indoors and reading? I do finish my finals early, so hopefully I’ll have time to read next month! Here are some books that I’m hoping to get to! (Let’s be realistic, I probably won’t, but it’s fun anyway)

This book has been on my TBR forever! I keep meaning to read it, but classics take me forever to read. So I thought it would be a good idea to start it during finals, so I can read it slowly and at my own pace!

I asked you guys on Twitter what I should read next…and well, you guys are really funny.

I think I’ll start off with Jane Eyre and after finals I’ll pick up Caraval. Thanks a lot for caring about my education πŸ‘€πŸ˜…

I got this book in the March FairyLoot box! It’s probably the most beautiful book I own! I absolutely love the blue pages and the cover is just gorgeous! (Also, would any of you be interested in a FairyLoot book subscription box review?)

I really want to read these both soon! I’m actually kind of obsessed with Persian culture and history (blame Alexander the Great) at the moment, but I’ve also heard the food descriptions in this book are crazy! And with Ramadan starting soon, I don’t know if it’s a good idea to read these, but oh well πŸ˜…

Have you read any of these? Which one do you think I should start with first (besides Jane Eyre)?

    1. Yeah, I saw your review for The Wrath and the Dawn and was a little apprehensive to read it. You know how I am when it comes to romance lol πŸ™„πŸ˜‚ But I want to read more diversely this year, so I’m definitely going to make it my next read!

    1. I’ll definitely do one then! Once the sun decides to come out so I can take pictures πŸ™ˆ I picked up Jane Eyre and I’m reading like a chapter a day. I find that classics aren’t the kind of books I want to read in one sitting, so that helps!
